Hi, I’m Baniamin Shams. I’m a Senior Software Engineer based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. I specialize in building and improving software using technologies like Java, Spring Boot, Vue.js, and MySQL. My job involves creating user-friendly applications and solving complex problems to help businesses succeed.

At Cefalo Bangladesh Ltd., I’ve worked on several exciting projects, including a CRM system that boosts sales and a subscription management tool that makes it easy for businesses to manage their services. I also developed a configuration tool that speeds up configuration tasks, saving a lot of time. Before this, at BJIT Limited, I contributed to a high-throughput microservice API gateway for a major e-commerce platform in Japan, handling a huge volume of requests.

Outside of work, I’m a big fan of PC gaming. Gaming not only entertains me but also inspires my creativity and problem-solving skills, which I bring into my professional work. I also enjoy traveling and continuously learning new things to improve both personally and professionally.

  1. I provided academic support to university students, guided them through academic challenges, and facilitated interactive lab classes to enhance their practical understanding.

    BJIT Limited

    At BJIT Limited, I worked as a Java Developer on a high-throughput microservice API gateway for one of Japan’s largest e-commerce platforms. I led a team of junior engineers, developed new features, and ensured 90% test coverage.

  3. As a Senior Software Engineer at Cefalo Bangladesh Ltd., I develop and enhance enterprise solutions including CRM systems, subscription management tools, and payment integrations. I engineered an Asterisk inbound route configuration tool, significantly reducing setup time, and recently integrated secure payment solutions such as Norwegian Vipps, MobilePay, card payments, and recurring billing via Avtalegiro using Mastercard Payment Services, ensuring seamless and compliant financial transactions.

My current setup is powered by an AMD Ryzen 9 9900X processor with 32GB RAM and 1.8TB SSD storage, paired with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080. For visuals, I use an AORUS FO32U2P 32-inch 4K 240Hz OLED monitor, ensuring ultra-smooth performance for both development and gaming. For mobile devices, I rely on an iPhone 15 Pro Max.
